The Heybridge and Maldon Climate Action Partnership (HMCAP) was formed in November 2022 as a community climate action partnership. The partnership is an independent charitable organisation.

The HMCAP aims to:

• • • • take practical actions in our local area to raise awareness of both a changing climate and biodiversity loss

      • examine practical ways to help mitigate the potential impacts of climate & ecological changes in our local area

      • bring the community together in taking positive practical steps to save energy, reduce waste and enhance our local & natural environment

      • work together to promote better, more sustainable travel options

      • work in collaboration with other groups, organisations and local authorities in providing feedback and consultation
